Meet The Harris Home Team 

I am Debbie Harris of The Harris Home Team. Please take a moment to learn something about me, my family, and my business.  

I moved to Branson from Kansas City Missouri in the fall of 2003. I will have to admit I’m quite the “city” girl and had my hesitations about the small community I was going to call home. After arriving and seeing the beauty the Ozarks offered, I fell in love right away. There is the lake, the mountains, and the friendly people that changed my mind about “small town living”. Although Branson only has a population of 7000 people, the community feels much bigger than that due to being a national tourist destination.  

Growing up my father was a general contractor in Kansas City for 32 years. From the time I was 12 years of age until I was about 16, I would go to work with him while out of school in the summer. During those years I learned a lot about building, construction, rehabbing homes and how to sling a hammer! Little did I know that all of those summers being my dad’s “gopher” would help me tremendously with my career. Not only did I learn the physical aspects of building and construction, I also learned the most important and valuable part. Always treat your clients as if they were family. Families grow together, work hard to accomplish goals together, and help out together. This valuable lesson I learned at a young age as helped me to grow my client base into a big family. This is why I think I have been so successful at such an early stage in my real estate career.  

My first year in the real estate business was rewarding. I worked a lot of hours; constantly passing out my business card to everyone I talked to. I also did a lot of open houses for other realtors in my office, anything to meet people. It was a long but well worth it first year.  

My hard work paid off in my second year in the industry. I doubled my client base, obtained an exclusive partnership with a well named employer in the area who planned on relocating a number of families to the area, and worked even harder! I also assisted a developer start a large subdivision and get it up and running from the ground up. This enabled me to further educate myself on the development side of the business.  

Moving into my third year I decided that I needed to take my business to the next level. I jumped in with all I had. The Harris Home Team has established a strong web presence on the internet. Along with my excellent marketing skills, this has taken me even further. Being one of the top 100 realtors in the area is hard but VERY rewarding. There are currently about 730 realtors in Branson area. I have met some amazing people and welcomed many of you to my increasingly large family. 

Guns blazing, educated, and a hard working professional is what I am. I know that this upcoming year will be my best yet. There is nothing that I can not accomplish!
